With its roots in the early years of the last century, El Pendola stays up to date and continues its work while respecting traditions. The farm is family-run: it’s run by a family who love the region and passionately carry on a story which speaks of quality and care.
Our family is made up of Luciano and Anna Maria with their children Enzo and Davide.
Passion is at the cente of all the work which goes on at the El Pendola farm. We stay true to our roots and renew our offer in line with tradition.
We produce wines, EVO oil, grappas… Our products are made with love and care. All this has been handed down from father to son for generations.
We start from high-quality raw materials and carry out all the processes carefully, in order to offer only high-quality products.
Pietro Franceschetti, our maternal great-grandfather born in 1859, began making wine in the early 1900s.
Incidentally he’s also responsible for the name of the company. He was called El Pendola by the villagers because, as well as being a winegrower, in the winter he worked the wood to build the “pendole”, the wedges used to hold the barrels in the winery so they didn’t roll.
After him the work continued with his son Giuseppe and later his nephew Emilio, father of Anna Maria.
Today Davide works with his father, Luciano, in the production of wines, carrying on the historical tradition of the Ceradini-Pendola family.
The El Pendola farm is in the region of Fumane, in the province of Verona, in the classic Valpolicella region, where it has always produced wines, oil, grappas…
We share a love for our land and for what it produces with those who come to visit us: we organise winery tours and tastings.
